New playground at I CAN’s Meath School
On Thursday 28 September I CAN’s Meath School proudly opened a newly refurbished play area in front of excited pupils and parents. The playground has been kindly funded by DM Thomas Foundation and John Horniman’s Children’s Trust. Rosy Harper, Communications Executive and Bronwyn Hartney, Area Sales Manager of DM Thomas Foundation officially opened the space, which had been redeveloped over the summer. The new playground was immediately put to good use by Red Class who enjoyed testing out the toys, bikes and climbing frame.
Janet Dunn, Principal of I CAN’s Meath School expressed the school’s excitement for the new resource. “The refurbished play area for our youngest children sparkles with play and learning opportunities in a very safe environment. Children and staff love using it every day.”
I CAN’s Meath School would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the DM Thomas Foundation and John Horniman’s Children’s Trust for Young People for their kind donation.
