Chatterbox Challenge week is here!

A huge thank you and good luck to everyone taking part in Chatterbox Challenge this week! We’d love to see and hear about what you and your little Chatterboxes are getting up to – send us your pictures and let us know what you’re up to on Twitter, Facebook or by email!

Chatterbox Challenge is the annual fundraising event for children aged 5 and under, helping to develop their communication skills whilst raising vital funds for I CAN. More than half the children in some parts of the UK start school with language skills below the expected level for their age. This year’s theme, Ben & Holly’s Elf and Fairy Party, aims to get children involved in fun party games while chattering about what they are doing, seeing and hearing. They’ll have fun learning songs and rhymes to perform in an inclusive sing-along for parents, carers and friends. Not only will they be developing their own communication skills but they’ll also be raising funds to help children across the UK who struggle to speak and understand.

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to this year’s Chatterbox Challenge supporters, Entertainment One’s popular children’s TV show, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom as well as TTS, suppliers of educational resources. We’ve also received great support from out partner groups Debutots, La Jolie Ronde, PACEY, Twinkl, Talking Tots, and Boogie Mites!

If you haven’t registered for Chatterbox Challenge 2016 already it’s not too late! You can hold your Challenge at any time of year, not just during Chatterbox Challenge week.
