Savills graduates raise over £125,000 pounds for I CAN

Members from the Savills Graduates Charity Committee presented I CAN with a cheque for £127,818 which the Savills graduates have raised over their six year partnership with I CAN. During the course of the partnership, colleagues got involved in a wide variety of fundraising activities including their annual Young Professionals Party and Cricket events and participating in a range of Sporting events including the Virgin London Marathon, the Three Peaks Challenge and the BUPA London 10,000.

Lynne Regal, Head of Corporate Fundraising at I CAN, said: “We are thrilled with the amount raised for  I CAN over our six year partnership and want to thank the Savills graduates for their support. Not only have they raised an amazing amount, but have truly made a difference by getting involved in numerous volunteering projects at Meath School such as developing an outdoor classroom, clearing the school Woodland Activity Area and providing essential on-site maintenance support.“

The money raised by the Savills graduates has funded various projects at Meath School over the course of the partnership such as Extra Time which provides overnight stays and after school activities for the pupils, who have severe and complex speech and language difficulties, and the Family Support Fund which provides funding for parents who require a cross-disciplinary assessment for their child. In 2013, Savills also funded a new Meath School Woodland Activity Area.

Thank you so much for all your efforts Savills graduates – you have made a real difference to I CAN and the lives of so many children at Meath School and beyond!
