Savills dig deep for I CAN’s Meath School
Savills graduates showed their support once again for their chosen charity I CAN with a recent volunteer work day at our primary provision in Ottershaw, Surrey.
The 15-strong team helped clear a disused, overgrown area of the school site to make way for a woodland activity area and bike path that is now safe for the children to use.
Lizzie Parrott, Savills graduate commented, “The work put in by the team has provided the scope for a new space for the children to learn and play. So far this year the team have raised an incredible £14,000 for the school which will go towards continued improvements of the grounds as well as for Meath life skills programme Extra Time, a service loved by the children which also benefits parents with much needed respite care’.
Reg Dodman, Premises Manager at Meath added, ‘The graduates once again have made a tremendous effort and have transformed a previously underutilised area that is now safe and welcoming for the children to engage with. We appreciate all their hard work and continued commitment to the school’.
