Meath School’s tea party with Humf for the Chatterbox Challenge

Children at I CAN’s Meath School had an amazing time having their very own tea party for the Chatterbox Challenge. They enjoyed a fun and healthy selection of food at their tea party held in Meath’s gardens. They were also very excited to have an extra special guest – Humf, from the popular pre-school TV series currently airing on Nick Jr. Everyone had a lovely time in the sunshine and great fun practicing the social elements of communication! Check out the brilliant photos from the day, below.

Your setting can also win the chance to have a special visit from Humf. All you need to do is raise the most money for Chatterbox Challenge 2013. To be in with a chance, just be sure to return your money before 30th March 2013.

Chatterbox Challenge 2013 has also got some great celebrity support. Amanda Holden says – “As a mother, watching my eldest daughter grow into a confident chatterer has been a joy and something I once thought developed on its own – but children need our help to develop their communication skills. I hope as many groups as possible get involved – I’m already looking forward to having a tea party with my little girls!”

So join in the fun, as children, parents and teachers all over the UK get chattering, singing songs and nursery rhymes for a very good cause – to raise money to help children who struggle with their speech and language.
